LOW TABLE - SERIES I

SERIES I CAPTUM BIOMORFE is a group of nine sculpture works created by New York artist Jonathan Hansen. The Series is a sculptural exploration of the concepts of captivity and freedom with the central reference point of second century Roman sculpture of the human body. 

The low table is carved from a block of Carrara marble with cast quartz resin over the biomorphic surface. The table sits on a base of bronze.
